WeatherTech Trademarks
A trademark is any word, name, symbol, device, phrase or any combination, used to identify and distinguish the goods of one seller or provider from those of others, and to indicate the source, origin, or sponsorship of the goods.
The trademarks used by WeatherTech Direct, LLC are owned by its affiliate MacNeil IP LLC and are exclusively licensed to WeatherTech Direct, LLC. Herein, WeatherTech Direct, LLC and MacNeil IP LLC are referred to as "WeatherTech."
Proper use of WeatherTech trademarks is important. You may use WeatherTech trademarks to refer to our products provided you follow these guidelines. Your use must not mislead consumers as to any WeatherTech sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of your company, or of your products or services. In such references, you must be truthful, must not disparage WeatherTech, and must not mislead the public.
It is necessary that you include the appropriate trademark symbol, whether ® or ™, with the associated mark only in the first prominent mention on a piece of marketing collateral, including introductory paragraphs, as well as in the first mention in text copy (but not including headlines, headings, or paragraph titles). If you are citing or listing a series of product titles, include the appropriate symbols with each name, e.g., TechCare®, CargoTech®, BumpStep®. Marks which are registered should have ® placed next to them. Marks of WeatherTech which are not registered should have ™ placed next to them.
Trademarks ideally are adjectives, and should not be made into nouns or verbs or made possessive. The common way to set trademarks apart from other words is to capitalize the mark and use the appropriate trademark symbol and appropriate descriptor after the mark, e.g, BUMPSTEP™ trailer hitch step. You may also underline, italicize type, or use bold type for the mark or put the mark in all caps.
The list below are trademarks of WeatherTech and if a registration symbol (®) is used, are registered in the United States Patent and Trademark Office and sometimes in other countries and regions.
A mark that is not registered is called a "common law" mark and, despite its lack of registration, still confers trademark rights upon its owner. Not all common law marks used by WeatherTech are listed on this page. Because of the large number of products marketed by WeatherTech, our intent is to list only the most important of WeatherTech common law marks. Failure of a mark to appear on this page does not mean that WeatherTech does not use the mark nor does it mean that the product is not actively marketed or is not significant within its respective platform.
The absence of a product name or logo from this list does not constitute a waiver of WeatherTech Direct, LLC's trademark or other intellectual property rights concerning that name or logo.

All third party trademarks referenced by WeatherTech, a logo, a word, a product configuration or otherwise, remain the property of their respective owners, and are used by us only to refer to the contextual use of the products. Our use of these third-party trademarks in no way indicates any relationship/affiliation with WeatherTech, our products, or our website, such use does not indicate that such owner sponsors or endorses our materials. Examples of WeatherTech’s use of third-party marks include marks to identify the vehicles to which various of WeatherTech’s custom products are meant to fit, such as CHEVROLET, FORD, TOYOTA, BMW, etc, WeatherTech uses the third party marks in this way to tell the consumer which parts will fit which vehicle, and NOT to indicate that a vehicle manufacturer endorses or sponsors any WeatherTech product.
