Shipping

Do your products ship in plain cardboard boxes?

Our products are delivered in branded boxes, some with the product name and images prominently displayed on the front or sides of the box. We currently do not offer any plain boxes for shipping, even during the holidays.

What is your Company's Shipping Policy?

Packages are shipped Monday through Friday. Most packages take approximately 5-7 business days for FedEx ground shipping to deliver to your door, unless Express Shipping was selected, or the part needed to be manufactured.

When shipping within the 48 contiguous states, standard ground service will be used.

NOTE: that our company cannot deliver standard ground services to P.O. Boxes and USPS will need to be selected.

Once you have chosen the products you wish to purchase and have entered our shopping cart, the shopping cart technology will detect the products in your cart and offer you additional shipping options and exact shipping and packaging prices for your convenience. These shipping options may include:

  • USPS Parcel Post
  • Ground Service
  • 3 Day Service
  • 2 Day Air
  • Next Day

Shipping Restrictions:
Depending on where you live and what product you select, you may not be offered all shipping options. In some instances, we are not able to deliver certain products to your location. There may be some restrictions on shipping Side Window Deflectors, Sunroof Deflectors, Stone and Bug Deflectors and Hood Protectors to AK, HI, Puerto Rico, USVI, Guam, or APO/FPO addresses via the US Postal Service or Federal Express.

NOTE: We cannot ship any product via air service to APO/FPO addresses.

When will the package be delivered? FedEx Ground packages are delivered 7 days a week. Next Day, 2 Day and 3 Day packages are delivered Monday through Friday.*

*Exclusions are holidays or any day that FedEx or the USPS is closed. Weather conditions, world, national, or local events may cause unexpected changes to delivery schedules without notice. These occurrences are beyond our control, but we do try our best to assist should a situation occur.

Express shipping orders submitted before 12:00 p.m. CT will ship the same business day. Express shipping orders placed after 12:00 p.m. CT will ship the following business day.

Express Shipping Examples:
Order on Friday before 12:00 p.m. CT, delivery will be:

  • Next Day - Monday
  • 2 Day - Tuesday
  • 3 Day - Wednesday

Ground Shipping Examples:

  • Ground - 5-7 business days

This discount only applies after you have paid the full shipping charge on the first item. Shipping Charge Explanation

We ship 99% of our ground delivery orders via FedEx Ground to ensure timely, damage-free delivery. Many of our products including most FloorLiners ship in boxes that are subject to an "oversize" package surcharge. Our Heavy Duty All-Weather Floor Mats for example can weigh as much as 17lbs for a set of four. Our Cargo/Trunk Liner packages are most often "oversize". Our robust packaging has been designed to protect your purchase from our factory to your door so that it arrives damage free. We have standardized our shipping charges by taking our average cost for safely shipping a package an average distance in America, carefully packed by our expert staff, and that's what you pay.

I live outside the contiguous 48 states. What about shipping there and how much?

If you live in AK, HI, Puerto Rico, Guam, the USVI or have an APO/FPO Box, our shopping cart technology will give you an exact dollar amount quote for the indicated products you wish to purchase. Please note, shipping times to these locations may be extended.

If you are outside the 48 contiguous states, and the places mentioned above, we encourage you to visit our WeatherTech International Distributors page. Here, we might be able to help connect you with one of our distributors in your country. By purchasing from these individuals, you will save yourself substantial International shipping charges.

Fast Shipping? Just how fast is fast?

Fast Shipping Information:
We ship from two different warehouses. One in Bolingbrook, Illinois, the other is in Neodesha, Kansas.

When you get a tracking number, that doesn't mean we have shipped your package that day. It means that your package is one step closer to being shipped and will probably ship within 1 business day.

If you NEED your package next day, in two days or in three days, please select an upgraded shipping method when placing your order. Your order will be expedited through our warehouse to ship right away. (Express orders placed after 12:00pm CT will ship on the next business day.) Otherwise your package can take as long as 10 business days to ship if the product needs to be made to order. For shipping examples, please see express shipping examples from previous FAQ.

Ground shipping examples:
*Please note that these timeframes are approximate and not guaranteed.*
- If you live in California and the transit time is 4 business days you should receive your package in 8 business days.
- If you live in Florida and the transit time is 3 business days you should receive your package in 7 business days.
- If you live in New York and the transit time is 2 business days you should receive your package in 6 business days.
- If you live in Iowa and the transit time is 1 business day you should receive your package in 5 business days.

Very often packages arrive quicker, but there are always a few that take a few days longer. We appreciate your business and rest assured we are doing everything possible to get your order to you quickly.

Below are example transit times from our two shipping locations. These are not guaranteed times.

Shipping and Damage Insurance

If your package is lost, stolen or damaged, by selecting Shipping and Damage Insurance, we will prioritize your order to the front of the line and immediately ship your replacement via 3 Day FedEx, Signature Required, at no charge, and we will file a claim investigation with the original carrier.

WeatherTech FloorLiners and Cargo Liners are custom manufactured and build time is not included in the 3 day shipping time. Backordered items will ship when in stock. Shipping and Damage Insurance charge is non-refundable. Please contact us with any questions.

If I purchase a gift bag at the same time as I purchase a product, will the product be shipped while wrapped in the gift bag?

No, the gift bag will be placed within the box of the product you’ve ordered. This is done so the bag does not get ripped or damaged during the shipping process.

Will my order ship in multiple boxes?

Sometimes, your order will be shipped in multiple boxes using multiple tracking numbers (depending on product availability). As a result these boxes might arrive a few or more days apart.

I have a great product idea I’d like to share with WeatherTech, how can I share this idea?

Ordering Online/Security

I'm concerned about giving you my credit card. Can I trust your site to be secure?

You can be fully assured that our website is a secure website. Your personal information including credit card number, is transmitted over the Internet via an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encrypted session. This method ensures that only the person who you choose to send information to is the person that sees it.

We have chosen VeriSign to be the verifying authority as to the level of security our website maintains. They have issued our company a certificate stating that: This site has a VeriSign Secure Server ID.

1. VeriSign has verified the organizational name and that WeatherTech has the proof of right to use it.
2. This site legitimately runs under the auspices of WeatherTech.
3. All information sent to this site, if in an SSL session, is encrypted, protecting against disclosure to third parties.

Included in the certificate are the effective dates of our secure site certificate.

How do I pay with PayPal?

You can select PayPal or PayPal Credit as a quick pay option before entering the checkout or as a payment method inside the checkout.  You will be prompted to login with your PayPal account to proceed.  Please note, the shipping address on your order must match the shipping address saved to your PayPal account.

I just ordered online, but I am unsure my order went through. How can I be sure?

An order confirmation email will be sent within minutes of placing your order. If you do not receive an email, please call customer service at (800) 441-6287 and a representative will be happy to assist. You can also check your credit card/PayPal account online to see if you have any pending charges.

I want to order via phone, fax or mail. How do I do that?

You are more than welcome to call us! Our telephone number is (800) 441-6287. We have customer service representatives available during these hours:

Saturday - Sunday
8 a.m. - 5 p.m. CT

I'm new to your site, where do I start?

If you know the Make, Year and Model of the vehicle you're shopping for, proceed to Shop for your Vehicle. Here, you can see every product we offer for your specific vehicle. We even show you pictures of our items on your specific vehicle so you can see how they look before they are installed! Once there, we might need to ask you one or two more questions to narrow down the exact part number for your vehicle.

If you've come to our website to purchase a gift and don't know the Make, Year and Model, no problem! Choose View All Products, and there you will find many gift items that don't require detailed information about a vehicle. In addition, WeatherTech offers Gift Cards in any denomination you may choose.

How many of your products are made in the USA?

More than 95% of the products we currently sell are manufactured in the United States of America and we promise to improve this every year.

Can I make a purchase with a Prepaid Gift Card?

Unfortunately, Prepaid Gift Cards of any kind are not accepted as a payment option on WeatherTech.com. However, if you have an official WeatherTech Gift Card, it will be accepted as a payment option online, over the phone, or at our WeatherTech Factory Stores.

Is it possible to modify or change my order after it has been placed?

Yes! After placing your order you will have up to 30 minutes to edit your order. You can change a shipping address, payment method, billing address, change product details, add additional products or even remove unwanted products. To edit your order, visit the Customer Order Online Help Center and enter your order number and billing zip code. Click on the edit order button and follow the on-screen prompts to begin editing your order. Please Note: When you click "Yes, Edit Order" your payment will be voided and you must complete the checkout process in order to complete your edit.

Is there a way to easily cancel my order?

Absolutely, after placing your order you have up to 30 minutes to cancel your order using our Customer Order Online Help Center. Simply enter your order number and billing zip code, click on the cancel order button and follow the on-screen prompts to cancel your order. Once you’ve canceled your order, your order’s status will show as "canceled" and you will receive an email confirming its cancellation.

How can I find the tracking information for my order?

For the most up-to-date shipping and tracking information related to your order, visit our Customer Order Online Help Center. From there, enter in your order number and billing zip code to retrieve your order’s information. Once you’ve looked up your order, you’ll be able to see the most up-to-date tracking information for any shipped packages.

I found a coupon for my WeatherTech purchase on a third party discount site, but I’m not sure how to redeem the code?

WeatherTech does not offer or honor any coupons or discounts through any third-party coupon/discount sites. 

Does WeatherTech price match?

We will not price match any competitors or any third-party resellers, even if they are selling WeatherTech products.

Can I place an order on the website that is Tax Exempt?

At this time, Tax Exempt customers must call or email our customer service department to place their order. You will be asked to show your valid Tax Exempt certificate in order to be set up and have any future orders processed. Tax cannot be removed from any orders prior to the certificate being authorized.

How long does it take for my Curbside Pickup Order to be ready?

Most Curbside Pickup orders can be ready in about 30 minutes, however during peak business hours it might take a little longer. Please note: Your order will be held for 48 business hours. If you haven’t picked your order up by that point your order will be canceled and you will have to place a new order.

What if I am not able to pick up my Curbside Pickup Order within 48 hours?

If you are unable to pick up your Curbside Pickup order within 48 hours, please email customer service and let us know when you’ll be able to make it! We can then hold your order for you, until you arrive. If you’re not able to pick the order up for an extended period of time; we can cancel the order, and you can place it again when you’re available to pick it up.

Is it safe to order from your company during this COVID-19 pandemic?

Yes, absolutely, WeatherTech is continuing to produce and ship products using the best sanitary procedures possible. Order today!

Where can I select Factory Store Curbside Pickup?

If you’re a local customer and would like to use our Curbside Pickup option, simply select this option during the checkout process. You can find it under the "Shipping Method," section.

Do you offer a military discount?

We do not currently offer a military discount.

Do you offer financing?

We do not offer financing.

Can you split you total order amount with two different payment options in the checkout?

We do not offer the ability for split payment options in the checkout. However, if you apply a WeatherTech Gift card, the remaining balance will be applied to your one payment option.

Returns

How can I return a product?

To return a product, please visit our Customer Order Online Help Center. Enter your order number and the billing zip code to retrieve your order and select the products you would like to return. Follow the directions on-screen to begin the return process. All products must be returned in new/unused condition. Shipping must be prepaid by the customer on all returns. Refund will be given on merchandise returned, less shipping & packaging. We do not accept C.O.D. returns.

Alternatively, you can contact our Customer Service Department at (800) 441-6287 to obtain a return authorization number. Your return authorization number is valid for a period of 30 days from the date you received your order. Any returns without a valid return authorization number will cause a delay in your refund or be refused. Please write the return authorization number below our return address on the outside of the box.

If you return an item within the allowable 30-day return period with a valid return authorization number, the refund will be applied to the original method of payment. If you made the purchase using:

Cash, check, or money order: You’ll receive either a cash or check refund.

Credit card: The refund must be issued to the same credit card you used to make the purchase.

PayPal: The refund will be issued to your PayPal account.

Gifts: Credit is issued to the billing/payment method on file, or a WeatherTech Gift Card.

If you return merchandise after the noted 30-day return period, your refund will be issued onto a WeatherTech Gift Card.

How can I return a TechFloor item?

Shipping must be prepaid by the customer on all TechFloor home tile returns. We do not accept C.O.D. returns. Refund will be given on merchandise returned, less shipping & restock fee. All TechFloor home tile returns are subject to a 15% restock fee. A single TechFloor tile purchase is not returnable. Please reference details aforementioned regarding refunds.

How can I return a Car Cover?

Each Car Cover is custom cut and sewn to your vehicle's make, model and year, therefore we cannot accept returns for Car Covers once an order has been placed.

Does WeatherTech extend its return policy for holiday purchases?

Yes! In the case of items purchased as gifts during the holiday season, we do extend our return policy from the standard 30 days, and all applicable details about refunds apply. You can purchase at any time before Christmas with the peace of mind that the person for whom you bought will have a stress-free return time frame.
