Ingredients for Peanut Butter Pumpkin Dog Treats

Servings: 1-2 dozen homemade dog treats, depending on size of cookie cutter

3/4 cup canned, pureed pumpkin
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 egg yolk
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

When buying ingredients for this homemade dog treat recipe, make sure to buy canned pumpkin, not pumpkin pie filling, because pumpkin pie filling is too sugary and spicy for dogs. Pick up all-natural or organic peanut butter, since other types of peanut butter may contain xylitol, which is toxic to pets.
