Where are WeatherTech Products Made?
Hopefully by now you’ve heard that WeatherTech makes its products in America. In fact, over 95% of our products are made in our own factories within the United States, and that’s a number that WeatherTech is dedicated to increasing every year. However, all too often the question still comes up "Where are WeatherTech Products made?"
Designing a Better American Product
WeatherTech products aren’t just made in America though, as many of our products are also designed and engineered in America too! Our Product Development center, located in Downers Grove, Illinois, is where all of our great ideas come to life. WeatherTech’s Product Development engineers use cutting-edge tools to capture the data needed to create all of our custom fit vehicle accessories, including FloorLiners, All-Weather Floor Mats, Cargo/Trunk Liners, Mud Flaps, SunShade and more!
All of this data is compiled to create virtual 3D representation of these parts, and using advanced design software our engineers are able to fine-tune measurements to make sure WeatherTech products are truly custom fit for your vehicle’s specific make and model.
Manufactured with Pride in the Midwest:
Once WeatherTech’s engineers have completed designing a new part, it is ready to be produced at our factories in Bolingbrook, Illinois. This is where almost all of WeatherTech’s products are manufactured, in the heartland of America.
WeatherTech’s pledge to American manufacturing extends beyond just making our products in the United States though. The majority of the materials we use to make our products and the equipment used to make WeatherTech products comes from other American companies. So you know we’re using the highest quality materials to make the highest quality custom-fit automotive accessories, right here in America.
