Door County Coastal Byway (Wisconsin)

  • Beginning just North of Sturgeon Bay, the Door County Coastal Byway follows Highway 42 all the way to Northport on the Door Peninsula. Take a minute on your way through to stop and shop in any of the small towns, try some famous Wisconsin cheese, or simply enjoy the beautiful ride with views of Lake Michigan and forests that glow during the fall months.

Devils Lake (Wisconsin)

  • The finale for the midwestern road trip: Devil’s Lake in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The perfect place to camp, hike or even sit by the beach if you are looking for a relaxing end to your trek. Devil’s Lake is known for its prominent rock sculpture at the top of the hill on the site, Devil’s Door. If you aren’t up for hiking up, there are a number of trails that surround the lake with other impressive sights to see.
